This getaway package includes a two-night stay for two in one room at the world renowned resort, The Greenbrier, along with greens fees for one round of golf for two on the famous Meadows Course at the resort, daily resort fee and taxes. The Greenbrier is one of the world’s most famous and elegant resorts, dating to 1778. The AAA Five Diamond resort continually receives national and international accolades. (Certificate valid Sunday-Thursday only from November 2008 to May 2009, excluding holiday, potentially sold-out periods or dates otherwise restricted. Recipient will be responsible for all food and beverage purchases, golf cart/caddy fees, activity fees, incidental charges or purchases and applicable taxes.)
Enjoy tickets for two to the Greenbrier Valley Theatre, named West Virginia’s Official Year-Round Professional Theatre in 2006. Presenting theatrical productions, musical concerts, literary events and art exhibits throughout the year, their offerings are not to be missed.
Also enjoy tickets for two to Carnegie Hall, built in 1902 as a gift from Andrew Carnegie. This historic performing arts center offers live musical performances featuring regional, national and international artists, and houses impressive art exhibits throughout the year.
Perhaps before the show, enjoy a scrumptious dinner at Tavern 1785 in historic downtown Lewisburg. Featuring contemporary American cuisine served in a unique, restored log cabin building circa 1785. If weather permits, dine on the outdoor patio with views of the scenic downtown and the restaurant’s lovely gardens. In colder weather, cozy up to one of the many fireplaces inside this fine establishment. (Alcohol and gratuity not included).
And with gas prices being what they are, this package would not be complete without a $250 gas card, compliments of City National Bank, to cover travel expenses here and back...and even a little more!
